My memories

My Best Memories.

Hello again. My favourite memories at RichmondSchool  were cycle safety, top team challenge, can sail, flick It on challenge, science investigation, learning my times tables especially my thirteen times tables and going to clip and climb. I have learnt that I am awesome because I'm awesome. I enjoyed the swimming lessons because I learnt how to swim better. We had some awesome days like Daffodil day,Red Nose and Dress up Day were awesome days.

It was awesome when we went to the CBS arena and we played the ukulele. We have use Garage Band with our ukulele teacher matua Paul, he teaches us how to play the ukulele.
Some of the other things we have done have been Koi Te Hinengaro, we went to Shirley intermediate for a pool party, Mine craft making houses, villages and mansions and swimming lessons at Jellie Park.

I am good at maths, I can spell because I'm the third best speller. On  studyladder I'm the best on the new World Series when I battle other people in the world, on the old World Series I'm the best at it.

My conclusion is that it's true that I'm the third best at spelling and I actually know my thirteen times tables.

THE END.  <>_<>

Richmond school gala

Richmond Celebration Gala

On Friday 8 November Richmond School held their Gala Celebrations. We were celebrating and thanking our community for all their support over the years.

A lot of people came to celebrate and have fun, there were heaps of fun stuff to do like skateboarding, going on the bouncy castle, an obstacle course and driving a jeep.

There was food, drinks and ice blocks. Everything was free, like sausage sizzle, tea and coffee, bacon butties, fruit and meat pattie sandwiches.

My mum, dad, sister, cousin, baby nephew, John and I came to the gala, it was awesome. My favourite food was the sausage sizzle. The obstacle course was my favourite thing to do.

We got popcorn, candy floss and ice blocks to eat.
My baby nephew Tobias was slapping and pulling my hair, so I took him to the bouncy castle.

This school was built in eighteen seventy five to two thousand and thirteen, so it has been here for one hundred and thirty eight years.

My conclusion is that I thought that it would be awesome celebration and it was good

Flick It On Challenge

My class and I have been making a movie with four different time zones. The time zones are Pre-European, Early European, Present and in the Future. The people who were filmed in the Early European scene were Connor, Tom and Jakita. Those who were in the second scene were John, Salote, Jakita and I. The last film scene was taken in our ICT Room, the actors were Michael, Ashleen, Rishap and Kamai.
Flick it on challenge is a film making challenges that we have done. When we did our movies we made it a silent movie and it was awesome. The scenes I liked was the present and the future, some of the films were funny like the future and the early European, I was in the second film doing pretty much nothing really, I was only waving the flax around.
At FerryMead Tom, Jakita and Connor got filmed there, Salote, Jakita, John and I got filmed at Willow Bank and it was weird, for the present I filmed room two and for the future I filmed for Michael, Rishap and I filmed for myself aswell.
I've enjoyed doing it and have learnt about how school has changed.

Ukulele concert two

Last Wednesday on the eighteenth of September we had our ukulele concert and our parents came. The songs that we were playing were playing was Wimoweh, that's aotearoa, Le Aute, Nga iwi E, count on me, paradise and How Maui Slowed The Sun. My mum came to the concert, my favourite songs were paradise, count on me and Nga iwi E. we played those songs on the ukulele, my favourite song playing the ukulele the most was count on me because I know that song really well but the easiest song was that's Aotearoa because you only need to play the chords f and c7.

Our school played ukulele just like other schools but some other schools played the recorder and marimbas. There was also a band and a violinist. We really enjoyed the concert.

New school visit

On the 5 of September we visited Linwood North. Their student council gave us a tour around the school. The principal is Mrs Smith and my tour guide was Ethan.
I like Linwood North school is awesome.  The room I am in is room 9 with Michael.  Riley is in room 6 for two terms and in room 9 with Michael and I for two terms.

Noa is in Johns class - room 10. John and Noa is next door to us. Michael and I had heaps and heaps of fun, we definitely are going there because it is not merging and by merging I mean closing down.

My conclusion is that I think it will be awesome.
